By using our website, enrolling in our classes, or participating in our programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms outlined below.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on the Balance Academy website, including but not limited to text, images, design, layout, graphics, and logos, are the property of Balance Academy or licensed to us. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed in any form without our prior written consent, except for personal use in connection with class registration or inquiries.
Use of our trademarks, logos, or any other proprietary content without authorization is strictly prohibited.
3. Limitation of Liability
Balance Academy provides all classes, activities, and related services on an “as-is” basis. While we strive to offer a safe and effective learning environment, we are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or other damages that may occur during participation in any of our classes or events.
You acknowledge that physical activities, including but not limited to rhythmic gymnastics and dance, carry inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to, minor injuries such as sprains and bruises, and in rare cases, more serious injuries. By participating, you voluntarily assume all associated risks.
4. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
By enrolling your child(ren) in our programs, you agree that:
- You understand and accept the physical nature of the activities involved.
- You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages incurred during participation.
- You release Balance Academy, its owners, staff, and affiliated parties from any and all claims arising from your child(ren)’s participation in our programs, including claims relating to COVID-19 exposure.
5. Medical Authorization & Responsibility
In case of a medical emergency, you authorize Balance Academy to seek medical treatment for your child(ren) and accept full financial responsibility for any related expenses. You confirm your child(ren) are covered under a valid medical insurance policy.
6. Use of Photographs & Video
By enrolling in our programs, you consent to the use of photographs, video recordings, or other likenesses of your child(ren) in promotional materials, social media, or our website. If you wish to opt-out, please notify us in writing.
7. Class Terms & Cancellation Policy
- All class purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Classes must be paid for in advance to secure participation.
- Private classes must be cancelled by 6pm the day prior, otherwise the session will be forfeited.
- We reserve the right to adjust schedules, cancel classes, or deny access to individuals based on safety or operational needs.
8. Code of Conduct & Facility Rules
- Children must be dropped off and picked up on time.
- Proper attire (e.g., Balance Academy uniform, leggings/shorts) and tied-back hair are required.
- Parents are not permitted in the activity area during class.
- Students must bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
9. Acceptance & Modification of Terms
By accessing our website, registering for classes, or attending sessions, you agree to these Terms. Balance Academy reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
